GRIID accredited by NIOS as a SAIED Centre for Secondary Course
NIOS (National Institute of Open School) has granted accreditation to GRIID as a SAIED (Special Accredited Institution for the Education of Disadvantaged) Centre for Secondary Course from the academic session 2020-21 for Physically, Intellectually challenged, socially and geographically isolated marginalized and are from disadvantaged sections of the society such as Street children, working children and rural women.
Taking this into consideration GRIID has conducted Final Practical Exams of 28 enrolled students in October 2021 in previous session.
In the next session of March 2022, GRIID successfully conducted the final practicals for about 300 students.
The Co-ordinator of this course is Principal, GRIID Dr. R.Vani Ratnam & Assistant coordinator is Mr. Sandeep Kumar Sharma (Special Educator) GRIID.
Further, GRIID SAIED center is providing complete information and support to the parents of the GRIID school students and other ID students from tricity for the enrollment of their children in secondary course of NIOS and has enrolled more than 40 ID Students from GRIID School itself for the session ending in October 2022. GRIID is actively taking up all the work and responsibilities related to their secondary education in NIOS, GRIID.
